Pediatric Dentistry
Our dentists make every effort to comfort and educate young patients and introduce the habit of daily brushing and flossing for better oral care. We also advise parents to bring their children for a regular dental checkup and address the injuries and issues that might occur in the future.
We Take Patient Safety Seriously
Besma Dental follows strict infection control standards to ensure your safety during appointments. They include properly washing hands and using a new pair of disposable gloves for each patient, as well as wearing masks and protective eyewear.
In addition, all dental instruments are sterilized in an autoclave, and the handpieces are heat-sterilized between appointments. Spore testing of the sterilization equipment is performed weekly, with results sent to a reputable lab.
Sharp instruments and bio-dental waste are disposed of in safe containers from a company that specializes in biomedical disposal.
Other measures to ensure the lowered risk of infection spread include barrier covers on exposed surfaces, while actively disinfecting other surfaces. Dental staff is routinely updated about infection control measures and follow them closely to keep patients and each other safe.
